Two Motorcyclists Hospitalized After Car Accident And Driver Later Dies From His Injuries.

Motorcycles can be a lot of fun when the proper safety precautions are taken and followed. When they are not followed, riding a motorcycle can become extremely dangerous and result in injury or death. Even if all precautions are followed, there is still a high risk of a negligent driver not seeing you and entering your lane causing you to crash. If you are involved in an accident while riding a motorcycle, the expert motorcycle accident attorneys at our Boston, Massachusetts law firm have decades of experience recovering damages for our Massachusetts clients and can help you with the complicated litigation process.

Two people were critically injured Wednesday night near the intersection of Wasatch Boulevard and Little Cottonwood Canyon Road in Sandy, Utah. Reportedly, a Honda Civic turned in front of a motorcycle, onto Wasatch Boulevard and the two collided, each carrying a man and a woman. Both the man, 46 years-old, and his adult woman passenger on the motorcycle, were critically injured and taken to a hospital. The woman who was injured was given medical care at the scene for around 20 to 25 minutes before she was taken to a hospital.

Investigators said drugs and alcohol didn’t appear to be involved. It appears the motorcycle had the right of way, but police are still investigating speeds and other factors involved to determine exactly what happened. The driver of the motorcycle passed away Thursday, while the passenger on the motorcycle has been upgraded to stable condition.
