The greatest risk to a motorcyclist may be from other drivers who are not properly prepared to interact with them and do not know how to allow for sufficient time or space for a biker to maneuver. If such a driver prematurely enters into a motorcycle lane, they can easily bump the motorcycle, or even scare the biker into swerving, which can lead to a serious motorcycle accident. If you’ve been hurt in a motorcycle accident, you should turn to an experienced Boston motorcycle accident attorney here at our Boston, Massachusetts law firm to help guide you through this complicated litigation process.
A 12 year-old female was riding on the back of her father’s motorcycle when they crashed just outside of Vivian Park, Utah while traveling along the U.S. Highway. Highway Patrol was first on the scene and believe that the father, a 39 year-old, lost control of his motorcycle before striking the middle barrier and sending both him and his daughter over the barrier into oncoming traffic. Both of the riders were wearing helmets when they crashed, which is being cited as a main reason why their injuries weren’t worse.
