The airplane crash<\/a> occurred when the jet crashed into an apartment complex in Virginia Beach,Virginia.<\/strong> Fortunately, no one was killed in the crash, although several people were injured<\/a>. Residents of the complex were given government checks to help them pay for food, clothing and housing over the course of the next couple of weeks, as they decide where to live.<\/p>\n

The jet crashed shortly after it took off from a nearby naval air station. According to Navy officials, the crash occurred because of a mechanical malfunction in the jet.<\/strong> An investigation is currently being performed to obtain more information on the exact cause of the crash.<\/p>\n
