{"id":346,"date":"2012-08-29T13:16:11","date_gmt":"2012-08-29T13:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gilhoylaw.com\/blog\/?p=346"},"modified":"2012-08-29T13:19:44","modified_gmt":"2012-08-29T13:19:44","slug":"federal-regulations-make-it-easier-for-massachusetts-nursing-home-patients-to-return-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gilhoylaw.com\/blog\/federal-regulations-make-it-easier-for-massachusetts-nursing-home-patients-to-return-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Federal Regulations Make It Easier For Massachusetts Nursing Home Patients To Return Home."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting on July 1, 2012, Massachusetts has implemented a new federal program designed to make it easier for nursing home patients to leave their nursing homes and return to community care.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kMPD0PGNDDs\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>New federal regulations implemented by the <strong>Commonwealth of Massachusetts<\/strong> now require nursing homes to provide weekly lists of patients who want to move back home to one of the Commonwealth\u2019s aging service agencies.<\/p>\n<p>These federal and state regulations are yet another step in a governmental overhaul of nursing home regulations designed to give patients more choice with regard to how and where to receive medical care.
