Gabriela Cedillo, then 26 years old, was working as an extra in 2010 on the set of the \u201cTransformers 3\u201d movie in Hammond, Indiana.\u00a0 Cedillo suffered catastrophic personal injuries when a piece of flying metal hit her on the head<\/a> during the filming of a stunt sequence.\u00a0<\/strong> Cedillo was driving a 2006 Toyota during the stunt scene.\u00a0 At that time, a cable snapped and crashed through the window of her car, striking her in the head<\/a> and causing the car to spin out of control and hit the highway median.\u00a0 An investigation found that a weld connecting the car to a tow cable had failed and thereby caused the accident.<\/p>\n
